About Us
Welcome to Cigar Box Chronicles — Stories That Smell Like Time!
Hi, I’m Daniel Reed — a lifelong collector of stories and the voice behind Cigar Box Chronicles.
I grew up in a small Southern town where old cigar boxes sat on dusty shelves, filled with photographs, letters, coins, and little pieces of family history. To me, those boxes were treasure chests, each one holding stories waiting to be remembered.
Years later, I created Cigar Box Chronicles as a place to preserve that same feeling. Here, we celebrate the tales hidden in ordinary moments — stories of love and loss, courage and regret, forgotten memories and unexpected adventures. Some are inspired by history, some by imagination, and some by the quiet truths of everyday life.
We believe every person carries a collection of stories worth telling. So pull up a chair, open the lid, and explore the chronicles within. You never know which story will stay with you long after the final page.
Our Mission
We believe every story deserves a little smoke, a little mystery, and a place to linger. Stories, much like old cigars kept in wooden boxes, grow richer with time. At Cigar Box Chronicles, we celebrate tales that carry depth, nostalgia, and the quiet beauty of human experience.
Inspired by forgotten letters, late-night conversations, and memories that refuse to fade, we share stories that invite readers to slow down and savor every page. We believe great storytelling doesn't need spectacle. It needs honesty, atmosphere, and characters that stay with you long after the ending.
From historical adventures to intimate reflections, everything we publish is crafted for readers who appreciate stories with soul and substance. Cigar Box Chronicles exists for those who still believe that words can transport us, comfort us, and leave lasting embers in our hearts.
So settle into your favorite chair, open another chapter, and let the stories linger a little longer.
